Waterford Clubs Men’s Division One Floorball team won the inaugural Aidan Cross Perpetual trophy in UL.

It is very poignant and fitting that the trophy was won by the Waterford team, as the late Aidan Cross was a former member of the Waterford Floorball squad and would have played alongside and was friends with quite a number of the team that won on Saturday. Aidan will always be remembered in the club for being the first Waterford athlete to represent Ireland at a World Games.

Waterford being the first name to be etched on this cup was a very special moment for the Waterford Club.
